Friday, 20 January 2012 |
so it appears someone hacked our server and left a little overlay
that would tell people who'd come here straight from the google search
site that we (you respectively) are sending spam and that you should check your computer
for viruses... thanks !
We frequently check our site for
viruses, trojans, worms and the lot and it has never been infected with
anything. The little snippet of code we were left that caused the
overlay to pop up was 100% harmless also (except for that it suggested
that we send spam, which btw we don't). All sorted now and as always
our Norton websafe status is as clean as it gets! Have fun browsing and feel free to hang out with us over on our facebook page too if you want. Team America Avocado

The Carrier - farewell tour |
|
Friday, 30 December 2011 |
With a sad eye we like to announce The Carriers last ever European Tour.
Their brand of powerful melodic hardcore was the next chapter of
evolution in their genre. Emoting with a goose-bump inducing fervor
unlike any other band out there today. We will miss the youthful
passion and discordant melody that has gone on to define The Carrier.
With every song they collectively shine, pushing their approach to new
heights, and solidifying their standing as one of the best melodic
hardcore bands to surface in ages.

Insomnium announce new album release and European headline tour |
|
Friday, 15 July 2011 |
Finland is an evocative land. The very mention of it conjures visions of endless darkness, long, cold wintry nights and an almost oppressive bleakness. It is within this icy cauldron that the soul of INSOMNIUM was borne. Their music is as epic as it is melodic, as melancholic as it is majestic and as brutal as it is beautiful.

Trial / Anchor / Run With The Hunted European Tour 2011 |
|
Thursday, 19 May 2011 |
"the struggle is not over - it assumes new forms" These words are a
vision which Trial relates to every day as a parallel of their own
history. Since forming in 1994 the band has worked desperately to
communicate their infusion of activism, emotion, anger and intensity in a
world where people are more comfortable remaining sedate. Challenging
that attitude, Trial has never given up, all the while fueled by a
relentless desire to play hardcore music which is charged with political
and personal fury.

50 Lions / Hopeless European Tour 2011 |
|
Monday, 28 March 2011 |
Now a staple in Australian hardcore, 50 Lions first bared their claws in 2005 at the height of the metalcore craze in their native Byron Bay. Focussing on producing a more traditional hardcore sound, the key to the survival of the band would be some serious van hours. Building on a sturdy reputation as a fierce live presence, they earned their place on bills with Byron counterparts Parkway Drive and other notable Australian bands such as Carpathian, Miles Away and Her Nightmare, before stepping up to share stages with internationals such as Terror, Madball, Down To Nothing and Blacklisted. |
